of Shady Brook Elementary School.
Who Can Join?
Membership is open to anyone who believes
in the Mission and Purpose of the National Parent Teacher Association. Individual members may belong to any number of
PTA's and pay dues in each. Every person who joins a local PTA automatically becomes a member of both the State
and National PTAs.
How to Join.
Our success depends upon your support. The best
way to show your support is to get involved. Join the PTA, contact the Membership Chairperson, or any member of
the PTA Board. Even a few hours of your time can make a difference. PTA membership is available to parents, grandparents and
guardians of any student enrolled in Sahdy Brook Elementary, administrative and staff, as well as any community members concerned
about local education. As a member, you may vote on any issue at any general meeting of the organization.

Benefits of Joining
There are several benefits to becoming a member of our organization. Our members are close friends and we have a great
time when we get together. Of course we also have a common interest, and we hope to further our cause.
