Welcome to the home of the Parent Teacher Association
of Shady Brook Elementary School in Bedford, Texas. The purpose of this website is to provide an additional source of information for parents
and guardians about PTA activities, membership, volunteer opportunities, and issues impacting our school and/or schools in
the HEB ISD. We are an organization made up of parents,
teachers, community members and sometimes students. We help to promote a successful and safe learning environment.
We are the voice of students and their families, the more members we have, the stronger and louder our voice will
be. PTA works for children. We promote
education, safety and parent involvement. We provide fun educational activities aimed to keep students interested in
school. We support teachers by listening and possibly supplying them with classroom materials. We encourage all
parents and grandparents to be active in their students life. Who's going to say no to a child? We encourage
everyone to play an active role in the education and success of their child in school. Together we are a powerful voice
for the students of Shady Brook. With your help, we can continue to work toward PTA's goal of a quality education
and nurturing environment for every child.
